Frame announced it had been acquired by Igloo Inc (Pudgy's parent company) to build its own L2 chain. BTW, the VanEck US account is now representing a Pudgy Penguin as its profile picture on X. Apropos, VanEck filed for the first Solana ETF ever in the US on Thursday.

What else you absolutely need to know is Pacmoon has partnered with Mocaverse for “PACMOCAVERSE” where creators can earn both $MOCA and $PAC, and Blast introduced its Blast Governance and Proposal 1.

• Coinbase announced a major new partnership with Stripe. The goal is to "increase onchain adoption and provide faster, cheaper financial infrastructure. They have also filed a lawsuit against the SEC and FDIC related to their efforts to deny banking to crypto companies in the US

• VanEck filed for the first Solana ETF ever in the US on Thursday, causing SOL to briefly hit $150

• Donald Trump is in talks to attend and speak at Bitcoin Nashville coming this July, according to Axios

• Solana introduced Solana "Blinks" (blockchain links) as a new primitive. These blinks allow users to share a Solana-based link anywere where there is an internet connection, enabling onchain transactions (i.e. swapping, payments, minting) to take place directly in app.

Memecoins:

• Stevewilldoit launched a memecoin HERO which ran to $60M in its first hour. He said: “I don’t need money. I give away all my money, legacy over money. I want respect in the crypto community. Respect is everything. Your word is everything . Your word is the strongest, most valuable currency.”

• Roaring Kitty posted a cartoon dog picture on his X, briefly causing the CHEWY stock and others in the petcare sector to soar before retracing. He also filed an SEC form declaring ownership of 9M shares of $CHWY stock, all while he is being sued for securities fraud for his role on GME in a new class action lawsuit

NFT’s / Web3:

• Frame announced it had been acquired by Igloo Inc (Pudgy parent company) to contribute towards building Abstract. Abstract (Abstract Chain) is an L2 blockchain meant for "consumer crypto, pioneering culture, community and creativity onchain." This means that Frame will no longer exist in its original proposed form. BTW The VanEck US account is now repping a Pudgy Penguin as its PFP on X
