Bitcoin soars past $70k on massive inflows. Still a lot of buzz about memecoins like celebrity coins and GME and Blast, which have confirmed their airdrop.

BTC & Alts:

• VanEck (the $90B investment firm) shared its "ETH 2030 Price Target and Optimal Portfolio Allocations" report. And it came with some wild price targets. They call for $22,000 ETH ($2.2T mc) by 2030 - as their base case.

• Coinbase debuts its smart wallet. Users can get started with just their Face ID, google chrome profile or fingerprint and start instantly. The wallet also features gasless transactions which allow apps to "sponsor" their users and pay their network fees.

• Robinhood announced an agreement to acquire the global cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp Ltd., aiming to expand its footprint beyond the US. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals

Memecoins:

• Solana saw more trading volume on DEX's (decentralized exchanges) than Ethereum for 4 days in a row this past week & weekend. The driver? Celebrity and "culture" Memecoins to be precise.

  • Iggy Azalea announced a new phone dropping later, purchasable with $MOTHER and Sol, and the fact that she runs a Telecom company.

• Alex Finn held a memecoin space on Saturday featuring Donald Trump Jr., Tate, Bilzerian & more. 

• The GME related tokens all sunk on Friday after the Roaring Kitty stream largely disappointed, then rebounded slightly yesterday after another cryptic tweet. Roaring Kitten posted his updated open position, up 219% on the day to $586M.

NFT’s / Web3:

• Memeland launched Stakeland Air starting with YOLO Games. The farming starts on Friday, 7 June 2024. Stake your $MEME, complete the quests, and get ready to win some $YOLO!

• Luca Netz announced Season 2 of their YouTube show "Building in Public" with a short teaser trailer.

• Magic Eden has teased an upcoming announcement with the word "soon." This is the only post on their new handle so far.

• NFTfi announced its $NFTFI token will be listed on gate.io and that they’re kicking things off with an $80k gamified campaign.

AI:

Alpha:

• Telegram announced a new internal currency called "Stars" as a method of digital payment which can be withdrawn to TON. Mini app developers can withdraw their Stars via Fragment using TON.

• Pirate Nation's Season 1 has concluded. The game will airdrop 15% of the total PIRATE supply to gamers

• The Mocaverse floor price has risen above 4 ETH. There is hope that the upcoming $MOCA airdrop might inject new life into the NFT market.

• Blast confirmed its airdrop will take place on June 26 and told Dapps they must distribute Gold by June 25, 8 am ET for it to count; they also told users to ensure signing up on the Blast dashboard and teased something coming for Dapps not yet launched on Blast.
